Henry looked up at the boarded up house and new it was for the best he would keep himself together for the boy, because he needed too, and because he knew Abraham wasn't truly gone from their lives.

He wanted Abraham to have a normal life, a full life, despite his need to hunt vampires, despite their mutual need to protect the world from the darker members of his kind.

He tapes the thick letter, giving his congratulations, and the address of where he and David would be moving too. He turns to the cart and gives the boy a warm smile.

The boy sitting up in the side set, as the back was loaded with what they would need to take with them, Henry climbs up and gets the horses moving.

He follows in and looks around the room. The tree looks lovely, to which he touches a few of the decorations with a smile. The drawings are all good, or so he feels. Peeking in on a few with a deepening smile. He's a father now, so he can see this as something more then he could have before.

"I'm glad to hear you two are doing well then." He said, trying to take the words given to him as positives. He looked away from a sketch book and back to Henry. "I've missed seeing you these past years."

David is around now, but he's hiding a bit in the shadows, peeking in on the two. He did his damned bestest to be so silent. Abraham didn't seem to notice him, but he was sure Father would have. Still, he said nothing.

They've been here. The comment made him feel... uncomfortable. Like he should have tried harder to fit them in and come visit. Though this was the first time in some time that he had been up states. Still, he supposed letters, after a while, aren't enough are they? The continued comments about jobs and Mary and such help alleviate some of his hidden guilt and discomfort though. "Yes, It's been a very busy time lately."

David drew back, caught and knowing that the man was letting him not be caught. He wanted to go over and cover his drawing books. Hide them from Abraham, but... instead he made with silent feet and came out into the door way, hands behind his back, looking up at the other man.

Abraham was just explaining the boys to Henry when David came around the corner. He blinked, then smiled largely. "Bless me, is that really David? My how you've grown." And for Abe, David did seem to be much larger now. The years had gone by after all. He gave a small nod to the boy, who gave a silent one back.

Abraham took a step closer, offering a hand as if he would offer it to a gentleman. "It's good to see you again, young David." The boy took a moment, looking up to Henry questioning, then moved out to give a small shake of Abe's hand before taking a step back again, not saying anything.

Abraham felt a ping of something wrong here, but he didn't say anything, just drew back, giving Henry a questioning look in his own turn and an awkward smile. "He looks well. As do you."

David took his hand and silently walked with Henry, saying nothing, but he did duck around a few times to peek at Abraham.

And, this was awkward. Or so Abraham felt. He tried to give the kid a smile, walking with Henry to leave for dinner. He had just wanted to stop in and see how they were doing. Come to see them and perhaps talk a bit, but he didn't realize he had no idea what he wanted to talk to them about. Or Henry at least. Perhaps it was just because he had been thinking about them a lot lately.

He tried for polite conversation. "Mary saw you two out on the ice. She thought you looked to be a very young father for a child his age." He said with a soft smile, looking at Henry.
